Killer Clowns From Outer-Space is 30 years old this year, and will be celebrated by being played at certain Horror festivals.

With Thursday nearly upon us here is my flashback, and this movie is celebrating its 30, yes 30th anniversary, and that movie is Killer Clowns From Outer-Space. Which will be getting I've heard limited cinema releases, and is being played at certain horror festivals this year.
An absolutely amazing film from 1988, that is so bad it is good. Starring cult scream queen Susan Snyder, Who is famous for Return of The Living Dead films, and her stint in other comedies  such as Weird Science. A very simple little tale of a comet landing, in a small California Town, within Minutes a strange Big Top appears. With reports of clowns walking about, and people strangely disappearing. Only Debbie Stone and her boyfriend Mike Tobacco, know the truth because they witnessed the comet land. Can they convince the other Towns folk and even the Local Sheriff of the terrible deeds the clowns are doing. Including killing people with shadow puppets, and custard pies that will melt your face away. The plan…

The Strangers Prey At Night movie review. Directed by Johannes Roberts. Distribution by Universal Pictures. Running time 85 minutes.

*Warning this review does contain expletives* The Strangers Prey At Night, we have had to wait ten years for a sequel, and I'll admit I was dubious that it would match the ferocity of the original, which I will say alongside Funny Games, The Original Strangers were the two films of 2008 that really got to me, and still do. Yet is it any good, well in total honesty yes it is, not quite as good as the original but in places it equals it, or even betters some scenes. The premise is almost identical Three masked killers Doll Face, Pin Up Girl and Man In A Mask arrive at a secluded holiday caravan park, at the same time this dysfunctional family who are here for a make or break getaway. We have the knock at the door again, and it soon becomes apparent that things are not looking good for this family, and will it have the same outcome as the original?, I'm not going to disclose anymore as it is still in cinemas at this present moment. All I can say it is definitely more brutal, and so…

Pyewacket film review. Directed by Adam MacDonald. Distribution by Signature Entertaiment, UK. Certificate 15, running time 87 minutes.

There is a very clever quote" be careful what you wish for as it may come true" this movie is that moral tale. A movie that sums up teenage angst and bereavement, a young woman dealing with the death of her father, and learning to live with her mother, who is after all just trying to do her best to raise an only child as a single mother. The film deals with resentment, loss, anger as the result of loosing a parent/ husband. In Mrs Reyes ( Laurie Holden) case the loss of a husband, that was not perfect, was adulterous, but still was her husband and dad to her child, we have Leah ( Nicole Muñoz) her late teenage years thinks she knows everything, but eventually knows nothing, and hates and blames her mother for everything, like most teenage girls. Yes I can relate I have a teenage daughter of the same age, and I have seen the awful rows my wife and she has, the only difference is, is they Kiss and make up, and move on, where Leah's deep hatred of her mother is so much so s…

The Nursery film review. Directed by Christopher A. Micklos and Jay Sapiro. distribution by Uncork'd Entertainment. Not Yet rated. Running time 87 minutes.

Many thanks for Uncork'd entertainment for this screener copy, and for once I was impressed, as some low budget movies are dire, I did find myself engrossed in this movie.
First I'll start with the negatives, It isn't the best acted movie, then again it is a horror film, so I'm not expecting Oscar winning performances.
Second it isn't the most original movie either, a typical malevolent ghost story wanting to do harm.
I'm surprised that there is only two negatives, as the rest of this movie I did enjoy, the creepy nursery rhyme music at the start does unnerve you, it is then followed by another song that is equally disturbing too. As I said the use of music in this film especially the two original songs by some unknown female performer are outstanding.
The camera work, the neon blue pallet tone is also unsettling, we don't see much of the malevolent spirit which is a bonus too, as I always believe sometimes seeing less is more, and these directors obviousl…

Revenge 2018 Film Review. Directed by Coralie Fargeat. Not yet rated, running time 108 minutes.

Revenge is a movie that is  equally horrible washed with gallons of blood, to some of the most impressive camera work seen on- screen a melancholy mix of colour, visuals that from first timer Coralie Fargeat
looks like it has been directed by someone more established.
We have a revenge film that for once doesn't rely on torture, from the survivor, we don't see baseball bats wrapped in barbed wire pushed up a man's backside, or a man with his eyelids forced open with fish hooks. What we do have is a story although graphic, and sickening, using only guns, and knives.
It is a simple premise a rich man and his gorgeous mistress go to the dessert for a weekend away, in his posh man cave retreat, when two of his buddies actually turn up for the hunting trip he used as an alibi to his wife. With Jen who is hot and she knows it, a man's fantasy, perfect in every way, but still treated like a piece of meat from the men in this picture. Things happen, I'm not going to discl…

Quick horror news for all you gore hounds.

Looks like a release date has been reached for Sharknado 6, with it going to be on Syfy on Sunday August 19th. Looks like this is going to be the final one, with a time traveling element being added to the mix.
The franchise brings back regulars Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Cassie Scerbo, and Vivica A. Fox.
Looks like Blumhouse has some problems as test screenings for Halloween reboot have not be positive. As we speak now the ending is being reshoot, along with other scenes, although this isn't uncommon it still is a worry that this great movie and characters may not be as good as the hype it has created. Even though Jamie Lee Curtis is back, and this being a direct sequel to the original Halloween, obviously set decades later, ignoring all the other timelines  We are hoping it is the usual just film a few more scenes, to keep the horror fans happy, and not the case that it is a little crap, and the studio knows it.

Thirdly on set photos from Rob Zombies 3 From Hell as been released, lit…

Truth Or Dare 2018 movie review. Directed by Jeff Wadlow. Distribution by Universal Pictures. Rated R, certificate 15, running time 100 minutes

Yet another movie from the camp at Blumhouse, that so many have criticised so I finally got a chance to see it, and is it as bad as most say, well yes unfortunately.
Six friends go to Mexico on Spring Break and end up at a haunted church where they play a cursed game of Truth Or Dare.
With a mysterious stranger admitting he got them to play the game to pass the curse on, just like the movie It Follows.
The main girl Olivia  on returning home sees Truth Or Dare written everywhere, to realise she still needs to play, causing difficulties for her friends, by saying truth and telling everyone her best friend Markie had cheated on her boyfriend Lucas. Then everyone else has to suffer the consequences of the game.
Suddenly Olivia realises their is a pattern to the game, and selfishly passes it on via a Youtube video potentially cursing the whole world.
That is what I, and many others had a problem with, save yourself and selfishly infect everybody, because we are all curious about clicking …

Escape From Cannibal Farm. Directed by Charlie Steeds. From High Octane Pictures. Not Yet rated, running time approx 90 minutes.

Escape From Cannibal Farm I had the unfortunate chance to see on a screening copy, I have to say thanks to High Octane Pictures for sending it to me,  I wished I'd hadn't invested my time in it though.
A British Texas Chainsaw wannabe, that with Leatherface with all its flaws and being dreadful, is still a better movie than this one.
With the trailer making this film look like a gore fest, showing all the gore in this film, and what to expect, with a script, and acting that is hilarious. It was so bad I was laughing so much, that is how bad it really is. Honestly I've seen a lot of bad movies in my time, but this is honestly the worst film I have ever, ever seen.
With a clever Chainsaw clad face on the cover, which is completely misleading as the chainsaw is not used once in the movie. Talking of chainsaws please lend me one so I could destroy this god awful movie, or even to cut out the memory of this turd from my brain.

Better Watch Out film review

I so wanted to like this movie, with a very decieving trailer about a home invasion, and a home alone style fightback, this movie is not that movie, with a clever twist very early on.
It is this twist though that spoilt the film for me, with a very nasty side that spirals into more  vileness that was just too uncomfortable for me to watch and enjoy, I very nearly turned it off. Though I did stick with it, a very clever final third saves the film, but the very uncomfortable dark undertones of the film I didn't like.
It has been twenty years since I've been so uncomfortable watching a minor on-screen with such psychotic tendencies, and that was A Good Son, which took ages to come out in the UK, due to a horrible murder of James Bulger by two sick 10 year old boys in 1993, which this film The Good Son was banned for many years, because of similar themes.
Why were these films so hard to watch, easy you don't imagine kids having psychotic tendencies, and being capable of horr…

Double Date. Directed by Benjamin Barfoot, screenplay by Danny Morgan. Certificate 15.

I had not heard of this movie, it is not even available on DVD, this British gem of a movie that I'm so glad I got a chance to see. A simple premise of a movie, a man on the eve of his 30th birthday, Jim still a virgin, with his cocky best friend Alex who is determined to get him laid. Suddenly two beautiful women, Kitty and Lulu walk into the same bar, unbeknown to the lads are on the run from a serial killing spree, that involves picking up young men with the promise of sex, then slaying them.
A film that is marketed as a comedy, but has some serious dark sinister, and even cruel scenes. That actually takes it one step over the edge of any dark humour, and is actually quite horrible in places. This in no way makes this film unwatchable, in fact the opposite although the violent scenes are hard to watch, the film is carried by acting that is outstanding. Danny Jones as main character Jim is the star of this, but his cocky best buddie Alex, played by Michael Socha is equally as goo…

Underground, a short story by Robert Perks.

Copyright of this story belongs to Robert Perks.
"Oh fuck, fuckety  fuck" why do we all think that when the alarm goes off, that same daily routine of getting up at stupid o'clock, going to fucking work that you hate, but hey ho you need to work for that one thing you know money, that helps you live. Rushing to catch that fucking train, you know will be overcrowded, full of the same daily faces, that have lost the ability to have any social interaction, "oh yeah I forgot I live in London" a regular feature here unfortunately. Only today was different, the train pulled into the station late as always, already seriously overcrowded with the usual types, the city folk dressed in their finest shiny suits, students with their backpacks, with earphones plugged in, noticing that all men these days even though incredibly young have massive amounts of facial hair. Massive bushy beards that ages them, with tattoo sleeves. Shit I'm only in my thirties yet I've turned …

Patchwork 2015. Directed by Tyler Macintyre. Release date 6th June 2017. Currently streaming on Amazon Prime.

Another so called throw back to the eighties with this Reanimator wanna be, including even the green liquid. Three women, Jennifer, Ellie and Madeleine disappear one night to wake up sewed together in a reanimated corpse, the thing is although only body parts are used the three women's consciousness remain, and they talk together in an eventual plan for revenge on the mad doctor who did this to them. The problem is the film is neither funny, and not nearly gory enough, Reanimator and Frankenhooker got the parody just spot on, this film I found to be incredibly boring, with the three female leads unfortunately being unlikable. Half hour had passed and already the film had lost me, so I didn't really care for any of the rest of the movie. Even James Felps of Fred Weasley fame cannot save this movie, although Tory Stolper as Jennifer is stunning, and I do have a weakness for women with dark short hair, as they always remind me of a love I lost decades ago.  The only clever point of…

Terrifier 2018. Directed by Damien Leone. Distribution by Signature Entertainment. Released April 9th 2018. Certificate 18. Running time 88 minutes.

Yet another clown movie, but one that has to be the most shocking, brutal attack on your senses, that is sickening in places, and dares to show gore, not pull the camera away, with the story changing so very soon, you thinking your going to be gunning for certain characters to be just a red herring, with more characters to introduce latter on. Art The Clown is without doubt the most sinister clown to ever grace our screens, showing up briefly in the between segments of All Hallows' Eve 2013. To finally have his own movie is a genius choice, I was thinking this wouldn't work, how wrong I was, this movie is shocking, the gore is sickening, we have the most depravitity of deaths, including a beheading, a woman literally cut in half with a hack saw from vagina to head, even a woman having her face chewed off lovingly by Art The Clown. If you cannot handle the gore do not watch this movie, I promise you if you are not a horror hound, or have experience in horror avoid this, as you w…

Circus Kane 2017. Directed by Christopher Ray, written by James Cullen Bressack. From Uncork'd Entertainment. Distribution by Frontline Home Entertainment. Released 16th April. Certificate 18. Running time 88 minutes.

Many thanks for Uncork'd Entertainment for the screener copy, the reality is I would have quite happily paid for this movie, which was released in the UK this week. A typical story of a creepy house, a former famous circus performer famous for his bloody illusions on-stage. Being forgotten about though for generations, a bunch of lucky bloggers, horror ones at that are given a golden ticket to attend the horror house, blog, use social media to their followers, with the promise of danger, plus with the golden ticket prize of a quarter of a million dollars to any one to survive the house of horrors. Simple ideas are the ones that work the most, and the reason why I liked this movie, although it has links to 31 from Rob Zombie, the only difference is this has humour, not as deranged as any of Zombie's work, and is Infact a better movie than 31. Yes it is full of typical horror clichés, killer clowns, demented Jester's, rooms of traps that are as equally as impressive as any Sa…

Party Bus To Hell 2018. Mahal Empire& Red Cardinal production presents a film by Rolfe Kanefsky. Release Date April13th. Not yet rated. Running time approx 85 minutes.

What more can be said about this film, apart from fun, fun, fun, and even better Tara Reid having top billing is killed in the first 10 minutes making this movie perfect for me. Yes this movie is like Ronseal it does exactly what it says on the tin, a perfect grindhouse style movie never made to be taken seriously is why this movie is so ace. A bus filled with party goers going to attend the Burning Man festival, break down in the dessert to be surrounded by devil worshippers, who happen to sense that the choosen one is on the bus, a virginual 17 year old who must carry the devils child. With outlandish deaths, buckets of blood, dancing topless lovely young ladies, eating body parts, drinking and writhing in blood, is the perfect T&A movie. Even Devanny Pinn gets her lovely assets out. This movie is pure silliness at the highest order, but I loved it, some movies are made to be soooo serious, when this is made with pure entertainment, made for laughs, just so ridiculously bloody,…

Wish Upon. Distribution by Vertigo Releasing. Directed by John R. Leonetti. Running time 90 minutes. Certificate 15.

AHH yes another generic horror movie, which is it about this time, a curse maybe? Ouija board games?, Spin The Bottle? a Doll? Truth or Dare? a cursed music box?
Yes you got it the latter, another teenage horror film set around high school, with every generic stereotypes ticked. Bullied kid, tick, spoilt girl, tick, a male friend who will clearly be your love interest, tick.
Yes this movie is like any other teenage movie ever made, and maybe not for the scenes of horror, it would've ended up on the kids Disney Channel. Even the kills are not inventive, trust me watch the trailer and it shows you all the deaths that are in the movie.
A film that is so like any other movie, it could've easily fitted in to the Final Destination movies, or even Ouija, Midnight Man, Bye Bye Man, and like all these movies easily forgotten. I'm glad I was given a copy of this movie, and not actually brought it, as I would've been pissed for spending my money on this turd of a film. Honestly…

Girls Night 2 film review. Written and directed by David Teixeira.

Girls Night 2, the sequel to the first short film from David Teixeira
A film that I really enjoyed the first time I saw it, and many thanks for the director for the advance screening, and once again for the sequel. I'm being honest I'm not a fan of sequels, and they are usually hit or miss, like most bands difficult second album, some succeed such as Godfather 2, Evil Dead 2, then again sometimes we get A Nightmare On Elm Street 2 Freddy's Revenge.Girls Night 2 is a film that  extends the events of the first movie, we see surviver Jess, who is still traumatized from the events of the first movie, and the game of Bloody Mary, seeing her friends butchered by some unseen force. She is having nightmares, seeing her dead friends, and some strange man with a pair of scissors that haunts her. We do have some great scenes in this movie, abet being so short, still manages to up the tension, a credit to director David Teixeira who manages to create tension with such confidence espec…

Girls Night 2017. Written Produced edited and directed by DavidTeixeria. Not yet rated, available online from October 31st. Runningtime 14 minutes.

Girls Night from Director David Teixeira, starring Alice Nazare, Liliana Garcia and Marina De Sousa. Many thanks to the writer and director David Teixeira for giving me the link and the chance to see his short film well before the release date in October. A film about three girls Jess, Alyson and Chloe who have a drunken Halloween party, at a friends house, whilst the wine is flowing and the usual girlie chat, deciding on whether to watch a horror, they discus Urban Legends including the legend of Bloody Mary. Why I liked this, well the acting seemed natural and not forced, the girls were natural looking young women, normal sized women with curves, they were likeable, which seems strange to say that in a film with such a short running time. That is why I liked this movie, the build up, the pacing, you caring about the characters in the short run time. David Teixeria is a great story teller to look out for, he has achieved more in 13 minutes than most directors produce in film five time…

Midnight Man Dvd review. Distribution by Signature Entertainment. Certificate 15. Available on Dvd and digital Hd from March 12.

What do you get if you add Ouija, Bye Bye Man, with a little IT thrown in then blatantly copy Insidious you get the Midnight Man. I am being a little harsh as this movie, although instantly forgettable, it really does have its moments of great horror set pieces. The opening segment is outstanding, and quite sickening, but instantly draws you in, shame it doesn't keep the same pace, and expectations, as it is instantly followed by unlikable characters, and abysmal acting. Only Robert Englund and Lin Shaye's manic performance saves this movie. The gore effects are impressive though, the bath of blood, the throat cut, decapitation, and an explosion of blood, are thrown in, and are great ideas. Shame the rest of the script is underwhelming, as it has a great premise of a demon who likes to play a game, you follow his rules, you live, you break the game rules you die. With The Midnight Man knowing your deepest fears and memories, and using them against you. Play at the stroke of mi…

A Cure For Wellness Review. Directed by Gore Verbinski, distribution by 20th Century Fox. Rated R, certificate 18. Running time 144 minutes.

If a film about a woman banging a fish can win best film, how the hell didn't this film from Gore Verbinski even get a little nod. A film that is just stunning to look at with some of the best visuals, stunning symmetry the train going into a tunnel, is hard to explain but is absolutely amazing film making, and a scene with a woman standing on a edge of a pool with her reflection and the stunning mountainside of Switzerland is breathtaking. Not only is the film gorgeous to look at, the steam punk visuals, the look of the forties but actually set in modern times is a joy to behold. I knew I was going to like this film, then again Dane DeHaan once again has not let me down, one of the most talented young actors around. With another outstanding performance from Mia Goth, a brave role to play, in especially one scene later on, that not only is sickening to watch, is also the other reason why this movie carries an 18 certificate. With other squirm inducing visuals, including teeth being…

New Terminator Concept art shows Lance Henriksen as the T-800.

New concept art of the 1984 Terminator movie has shown Lance Henrikson as the T-800.
James Cameron at first wanted an everyday man, as the role of the famous character to easily fit in to modern life at the time.
Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn't even considered at this point, which is impossible to think about now as this is the role that made Schwarzenegger.
It is a weird idea in a different universe how the original idea would've worked with Lance in the titlular role, who we all know is a brilliant character actor, especially in Aliens 1986 two years later as the android Bishop. Anyway it is all in the past now, and Arnold is definitely our Terminator of choice now, with the reigns now being passed back to Cameron, and the original cast now all back together, we can only hope that this Terminator will be actually decent once more.

The hooded woman on a train urban legend.

Photo courtesy of Clayton Bastiani/ Trevilian Images.
The hooded person on a train is an old Internet folklore story, but if you have never heard it, it goes something like this. A woman was on a train one night alone, apart from three passengers sitting in front of her, two men and a lady wearing a hooded top sat between the gentleman. This didn't seem alarming, it was just the fact the lady in the hooded top never took her eyes off her, which made her feel extremely uncomfortable. Although the face of the woman in the hoodie could not be seen entirely, the other woman could make out her eyes watching her, constantly looking, eyes never moving off her.
At this point the train pulls into a station and a gentleman gets on, and sits near the lonely woman, without saying a word could tell the woman he was sat by seemed alarmed by something. He looked around at everyone on the train, including the hooded woman and her two male companions, he then passes …

Mum And Dad 2017 film review. Directed by Brian Taylor. Rated R for violence. Running time 83 minutes.

Mum And Dad, a very scary take on modern life, the stresses, the things we give up, the things we all settle for, working in dead end jobs, just to pay the bills for our family.
This film although is the opposite to 2015 Cooties when children turn on the adults we have the opposite, when parents suddenly loose that ability to love their children unconditional, and instead just have an uncontrolled hatred and murderous intension towards them. A very dark tale, that unfortunately brings up many fair points in being a parent, although quite sickening in thought, about parents offing their children in gruesome ways, the questions this film brings up are interesting. Especially the scene when Nic Cage breaks down whilst building a pool table, to the disgust of his wife, saying they don't have the money, and Nic  Cage's character saying we have nothing for ourselves anymore, " we used to be called Brent and Kendall, now we are just Mum, and Dad"
With absolutely amazing pe…

Saw Franchise, rated from best to worse.

Saw in 2004 was groundbreaking for horror, never had we seen a horror movie like it, unfortunately starting off the Tourture porn trend in horror.
Shame as the original Saw had so much going for it, this micro budgeted film, introduced us to John Kramer one of the best serial killers ever, a man with terminal cancer, with no chance of survival, bitter at the world and those who take life for granted. He wants to give people the chance of life, but the catch, they need to suffer insufferable pain first. Probably in hindsight a look at life in general that you have a lot of pain in your life, but you still need to try and remember to live your life, appreciate it, as it can be taken away from you just as easily.
A great selling point in a movie, that just eventually turned into an excuse to put as much gore on-screen, and to create more elberate traps, to keep gore hounds happy, this however I think ruined the series, and I'm so glad it did eventually come to an end, leaving almost…

Victor Crowley Bluray review. Available from the 6th February. Directed by Adam Green. Rated R, running time 86 minutes.

Like my previous review of Jigsaw, another excessive violent series was the Hatchet movies, about the swamp dwelling creature Victor Crowley, a deformed man, who was burned in a prank gone wrong, then slayed accidentally by his dad trying to save him from his burning cabin, his spirit now haunts the swamps, looking for revenge on the living, in some of the most ingenious kills ever.
Victor Crowley is a blood fest of the most crimson kind, but done in such a tongue and cheek way it is impossible to be offended by this in anyway. With probably the best gore gags seen on-screen in some time including a killing of a valium obsessed woman with her cellphone, being killed by  internally forcing her cellphone being forced through her lady bits, eventually exiting her mouth, before being turned litually inside out by the Hulk of Victor Crowley. We have brutal scalpings, a brilliant head crush, even death by airplane engine.
The story works as it is so simple, a bunch of film makers, making a…

Jigsaw 2017 DVD and Blu-ray review. Lionsgate entertainment. Certificate 18, running time 96 minutes. Available 26th February 2018.

Let the game begin. After a series of murders bearing the markings of the Jigsaw killer, law enforcement find themselves with the realisation, has John Kramer who is presumed dead over a decade ago back from the dead, or is there a copy cat killer following his previous work. With the lives of 5 people, all going to experience what life is, and how precious it is, by playing a very gruesome game to cleanse their sins, can the cops reach them in time. I'm being totally honest I lost faith in this franchise years ago, I didn't even bother watching 4,5,6 and seven properly, just fast fowarded to the gruesome death scenes, which in fairness what this franchise had become famous for.
A tourture porn movie franchise insistence of more blood and gore on-screen instead of a decent storyline like in the first few movies.
The strange thing is Jigsaw 2017 has gone back to its roots, cleverly referencing the first movie, and like the first movie, a great script, less reliant on excessive…

Tragedy Girls 2017 Film Review. Directed by Tyler Macintyre. Distribution by Gunpowder And Sky. Produced by It's The Comeback Kids, New Artist Pictures. Rated R, Running time 96 minutes.

Tragedy Girls or as I saw it Heathers for the kids, is actually a delicious dark satire on modern life, with the I want to be famous for actually doing nothing, by being an online sensation, using Twitter and You tube type of movie.
With other influences from Scream, and even Mean Girls, with a modern take using social media as an output for two girls who are desperately wanting to be the next online sensation, and using current events happening in their own town, with mysterious deaths, and even a possible serial killer on the loose.
With the girls blog The Tragedy Girls, who are desperate to scare everyone senseless with their theories, with the naivety of the townsfolk, and believing all the deaths are accidents, the girls set out to murder themselves, and act on their dark urges to kill , just to prove the townsfolk they are right, about a serial killer on the loose, including actually catching him, and wanting tips how to kill efficiently. With some glorious kills, plenty of blo…

Happy Death Day film review. Distribution from Universal Pictures, produced by Blumhouse. Directed by Christopher B. Landon.

Tree is about to have a very bad day, again, and again and again.
College Grad Tree, a self centred bitch, who you take an instant dislike to, who is foul to everyone.
Treats everyone like dirt, then wonders why someone would want her dead. With a groundhog Day loop thing going on every time she is murdered she has to live through the same Monday the 18th, until she can find out her wants her dead, solve her own murder, and maybe become a better person in the mean time. The thing is I really wanted to hate this movie, but I couldn't, because of the performance from Jessica Rothe as Tree, in her first scream queen role, starring previously in La La Land, and Netflix's Parallels.
She is so likeable and believable in the role, although playing the bitch perfectly, she is deep down a damaged soul, still mourning the death of her mother, and her grief is her anger towards fellow People.
With some inventive kills, and no matter what Tree does, the day always ends in her death, with…

Dark Mountain (2016) Film Review.White Lotus Productions, Ash Films, Surewould Presentation. Directed by Lou Simon. Distributed by Uncork'd Entertainment. rated R, running time 87 minutes.

This film is another prime example of a marketing team, and distribution rights changing the name in a different country, with a catchy title and cover to grab your attention. This film has already been marketed before under the name All Girls Weekend, released in July of 2016 originally.
Think of this film as a cross between The Happening,The Decent, and a little Blair Witch thrown in for good measure, a story of four high school friends reuniting many years after graduation.
Where they go off track for a three mile trek in the woods, that takes days,as they get lost, and get taken out one by one by the creepy forest,as mother nature is the serial killer, and requires blood to sustain itself. This film is a strange one as none of the girls like each other very much, so why would they want to spend a weekend together, in winter, on a team building type thing. So with the girls not being the best of friends and bitching at each other all the time, we have no time to be really empatheti…

The Green Inferno (2013) Film Review.Directed by Eli Roth.Distributedby Blumhouse Tilt, Universal Pictures.

So finally I have seen this, made in 2013, but with a limited cinema release late last year, why has it taken so long to come out? Is it any good? Well the answer is no. My only thought for the delay,is well,
it is not very good, and I'm thinking, this must've been a strong contender to be shelved by said film company.

With some terrible acting, actors who are looking like they are almost laughing between scenes, fart, shit, and dysentery,is not needed in this film. And the torture scene of the fat guy,is only put in to offend, and to gross out people. The same scene could've been done better,by hinting of the violence, sounds effects, and watching the faces of the people captured, looking on would be far more scary.

Eli Roth though does not do subtle, directing like an excitable child, wanting to show more blood on screen,a man who has been let loose in the Gore makeup box,and is determined to use every prosthetic, and corn syrup by the gallons.
Don't people know,that sometimes se…

Boneboys or Butcher Boys (2012) Film Review. Directed by Duane Graves,Justin Meeks.

What do you get if you cross Judgement Night, with Hostel you get this film set in Texas. Called Butcher Boys,or also known as Boneboys. A very strange film I think about cannibalism being the Drug of choice, and also business for a small number of gentleman. With young Females mainly on the Menu, especially Virginal teenage girls.

Four Teenage kids on a night out celebrating a17Th Birthday,Brother and sister Mikey, and Sissy, and boyfriend and girlfriend Kenny, whose birthday it is and his feisty girlfriend Barbie, who actually is the cause of all the mayhem that happens, through her stupidity and actions.

Anyway the four kids end up in a wrong part of town, and unfortunately run into this gang of lads, who decide they need a lesson taught, especially to the boys, and maybe the Girls will be on someone's menu.
we have in sorts firstly a chase, and survive movie, which turns into sickening and barbaric scenes,of Cannibalism, and torture movie of young girls, being prepped for quite simply a mea…
